You might try over on the regular Silkie Thread, or see if there is a B/B/S thread. This one is sort of for Partridge SilkiesDoes anyone have any B/B/S hatching egg's.
There is a hatching egg section, and I'm pretty sure I have seen two or three breeders selling blue, black splash eggs there.Does anyone have any B/B/S hatching egg's.
AwwwwwThat chick has a cool head decorations, closer to the real Partridge "helmet" than the Wildtype chipmunks we usually see being called Partridge in Silkies. You will let us know how it turns out?![]()

Quote: I don't know how many hard feathers is ok, do you have the SOP? Then you can count them and find out if it works. You might also want to check what the deduction is if he has "too many," if he is great in every other way it might only equal a point or two.
Yes. Goggles is a NICE boy, great marking all over him for partridge (black and red/brown) and had great foot feathering, stance and crest. It does work out ok - but now I need MORE Partridge girls!![]()

I know they are allowed a few "hard feathers", but I don't know how many. I don't know if that would count as "stiffness" or is there another section on "hard feathers" in silkies.OK I found this:
Stiffness in tail feathers -2
So, it isn't a DQ.
