Then you should be fine - I have a no feather on middle toe boy with a mop foot girl and all their chicks are well feathered. What most people don't realize is the middle toe only has to have ONE feather. If it has no feathers at all it is only ONE point off.... and a judge did knock down a bird with TOO many feathers on its feet - so you don't want to go overboard. Your boy with two feathers is actually fine. Concentrate on keeping that correct color - and make sure his stance is good and his tail looks great from the pictures.

They need a lot of help in the Color department. I would say 90% of the Silkies out there marked "Partridge" aren't even close to the correct SOP color - and have all sorts of extra genes in there. The moorcap (Charcoal) is one of them, I suspect they also carry Dilute because of all the gold feathers when they are supposed to have Deep Reddish Bay. If you want to see correct color for the SOP Partridge look at the Partridge Wyandottes, Partridge Rocks - etc.. none of those birds have any gold - the males have black chests...
What we call Partridge in Silkies is pretty, but not to the SOP. I think the ones that get marked higher in the shows have a more intense red coloration (like what Sonoran is getting now) but the actual correct SOP color is probably considered too dark by most Silkie fanciers. There is a lighter version of Partridge in other breeds, but our SOP does call for DEEP Reddish Bay - and that usually is in the Mahogany range - not the gold stuff we see now. The tails, wings, saddles, hackles, etc. on the boys call for Rich Brilliant Red on them - and I think your boy has the correct Red on his wings and head.
Keep us updated with pictures as he grows up, he looks really nice right now.
