Partridge Silkies - Nothing else

I love when they have well defined coloring. Makes it so much easier to sex them early. Usually they are better colored adults as well.

He's going to be good looking when he grows up.

Much easier than whites, although my whites can usually be sexed at 11 weeks old anyways.

I’m just really pleased with the barring on this ones wing feathers!

I’m in love with this one, a handful of perfection! :love

@Fur-N-Fowl Your partridges are pretty. Do you have more pictures of your adult roosters and hens? My entire flock consists of partridge satins and silkies. I love them.

Aw thankyou :)

Surprisingly all of my partridge chicks have a pure white father! He was partridge based hence why they would hatch partridge and not white. I’ve recently rehomed my last breeding Male as I wanted a better quality one.

Apparently my new one is also partridge based so I’m keeping my fingers crossed he really is. I’ve got 15 eggs in the incubator so if I get any partridge I will know.

I will get more photos of the hens tomorrow and post them back here!

I bet your flock looks super pretty though!

Your birds are amazing. I have a white silkie hen. I want to get a rooster and a few more hens/pullets. I want to hatch silkies. Can you point me in the right direction for what colors to look for to create some beautiful babies?
