Partridge Silkies - Nothing else

My newly hatched partridge baby with a proud black broody! I love that my broody hen can let the babies hatch naturally! So neat!

broody mommies that let you handle their chicks! Its why I got Silkies!

I was lucky to recently purchase a flock of 5 partridge silkies for my daughter. One hen is super dark (almost solid color), one is very light and two are medium in tone. The roo has nice variation in his colors. My SOP is not handy at the moment due to my husband helping me "clean" LOL... and I wonder if you all could post picks of the ideal coloring for hens and roosters?

This is the kind of color I am looking for Tina. I like the coloring of the first two hens better than the third as far as the standard goes, though I like both colors. I dont have older pic of my boys on this computer so only have the one of Jasper. I see the black on the breast missing on a lot of boys.

I really like the paler washed out looking ones, but is that considered a fault or a different name than just partridge?
I dont know what "paler washed out " color you mean exactly but Partridge Roosters shouldnt be pale or washed out. Check out this page for some nicely colored Partridge. Send some pictures of the color you are referring to.

Here is a pic of my lightly colored partridge hen, is this what you mean by 'washed out'?
I would like to have a dark one too, just so that I have one of each!!
