Partridge Silkies - Nothing else

Thank you all!! I am very proud of him! And hope he turns out to be a good daddy, when I brought him home at 4 months old I thought he was a she and put my younger silkie chick's with him and he was so good with them and they just stuck right under and beside lol, it took a couple months before a crow and the next thing I knew he had a comb! Silkie surprises haha!

Gosh and don't they all look so different and really cute. I love the Partridge but there do not seem to be a lot around over here. which is a shame - have to start a trend.

We have been having some rain....My silkies are NOT happy :)
We have had an unusual amount of rain this year. Thanks to the covered runs they don't get to messy. But it sure has but a near halt to hatching by incubator. I put broodys to use every chance I get. I have a splash that just went broody so when I get enough eggs she will be put to work.
I don't remember if I posted these pics but they are frizzled silkie chicks raised by a paint broody and her mate. They are very good parents for being their first time.

These 2 last pics are from a frizzled silkie partridge hen and a porcelain roo. I love how it is getting white on it's wing tips. I soooo hope it's a girl. It's also the only one not vaulted. The foster parents have 4 partridge chicks ranging from this light color to a brown (so far) They haven't feathered out yet as you can tell.

Hey everyone, Im Sooo glad I found a post all about partridge silkies! I have an adorable lil girl that i've been dying to learn more about. She's my first and only partridge so far and im soo curious what color she is. She's finally fluffing out and getting her crest but its not dark like I tend to see in partridge. Her whole body is a combination of greyish with browns and im so stumpted what color she'd be considered. She's my mystery color and also one of my favorite. I'll get recent pics of her soon :)

I just took these pics of my sweet lil partridge now at about 7 weeks old. Now that she's older, can anyone tell me what type of partridge she is? Or is she still going to change alot? I hope she gets a dark crest but I think she's pretty anyway, and I cant wait till she's all fluffy. I'd just really love to know what color she'd be considered. Thanks :)

She is a silver partridge. A favorite color of mine. :) If you read this entire thread you will see partridges of all different shades.
