Well, if it holds true, you should get about 4 or 5 days of this miserable crap and then you get a small break. Then it's hot again, but not as bad (close but no cigar). Then you'll get another break. Of course Oklahoma may be different because you are generally hot anyway. But the humidity should break a bit...

Okay, everyone that likes this thread. I need a favor.... When you get there I would like you to like me. I am trying to get 26 likes so that I can get my own url for USS. It's a business page and I don't want anyone to have to go through my personal page to get there. Once I get that done I will start adding some cool stuff like discussions and all of that.. IT'S ONE OF THE BEST TIMES OF MY LIFE!!!!! I just checked and it is 43!! I got this idea of a FB business page a few weeks back and was toying around with it. I hadn't been on FB very long and it seems very confusing. To me it was far easier to build my website.
Last night about 12:30 I decided to give it a try and worked on it until about 2. I got up this morning, had coffee (of course), took care of the dogs and the chickens and then sat back down. It was about 9 when I found out that I needed 25 likes before I could get a personal FB address. Otherwise it was going to have to go through my personal page - and that is not very professional. So I contacted some friends on FB and on here and had my 25 by noon!!!
I'm not a youngster anymore and I have to laugh because it reminds me of that one car ad on TV where the girl is sitting at the computer and has a million or whatever friends and her parents have 19... I'm definitely the 19 kinda gal... Thank you one and all.
I never realized that starting this little thread would completely take on a life of its own. I barely have time to take care of the precious little creatures that started me down this path!!!
So, are there any partridge Silkies we can talk about?
