She is blue partridge, not lavender partridge.

Very nice. Don't you just love it when they stick their necks WAY out? I love it. Normally you would never know that they could possibly have a neck that long... Like a turtle. but keep us posted. I would love to see her as a grown up lady.

Awhhh. That's too bad. I would love to see them. Do you show her at all?
Are you going to CR?

I am an IDIOT who can't remember where I put my camera the other day and can't take pictures until I find it... I don't know if anyone can help me without pictures...but here goes.

What should I look for when trying to decide between two partridge silkies? If one has more defined black markings on them how does that translate into their adult coloring? I have trouble seeing the little chipmunks in the adult pictures...Is darker more desirable or less?

I'm not quite understanding about the black markings? How old are these birds? Are the black markings that you are trying to describe the pencilling on the wings? Darker crests are more desirable. Darker under fluff is more desirable. Darker feet are more desirable as well as tail feathers. By chipmunks I am assuming that you mean the chicks with the chipmunk markings. I have not noticed a significant variation in the chipmunk stripes on my babies.

What is this for?
Maybe someone else will be better able to understand what you are trying to say... Sorry..
