Yep, rednecks are GREAT!!! Of course some may not agree (especially that I call them rednecks. LOL). If they are not brother and sister, you breed the redneck to the partridge to improve the black in the under fluff, chest, feet, etc. Where did they come from and why don't we have pictures? That is a must on here!!! Ya have to show pictures!!!
I have had a few that have attempted to crow that early... And as you know "attempted" is the operative word. I just laugh all the time when the babies do that. They try so hard and almost fall over. Their little necks stretch way out and they almost sit completely on their butts to give themselves leverage for the big PUSH. God love these little creatures, they make my life worth living.
CRS - can't remember sh^$
Hmm, seems to me I may have that syndrome as well!
I love the red necks too. I have three here, Frankie's pic was posted a few pages back. I am so used to describing the hackle coloring as "Copper" in my Marans, but Frankie looks like a carrot! He was named after my first childhood crush, Frankie, a little red headed boy in the 5th grade! I'm sure he's be impressed to know he is being remembered through a chicken!!
