Partridge Silkies - Nothing else

We do too!!!! We show free birds! Bahahaha! I just listed birds to sell on Craigslist that someone gave to my daughter at the state fair! I wanted her to have a few birds... we somehow have 26 with 11 in an incubator!!! How did I end up with 26 chickens when I have only spent $30 on birds?!

My boyfriend asked when we would know what gender it is... I said when we get a crow or an egg... or maybe if it gets streamers? I have no idea....

Ok to me it sounds like your getting alot of free 1s or they are multiplying on you like rabbits.

Well I have birds for the coop thats why I need it. He gave her 5 anyway..... :-/

This is our first chick we have hatched!!! First success. So no rabbits. Just helpful people.... too helpful?

Well sounds to me you have some very nice people for giving her the birds.Alot of people out there are only out to make a dollar but sounds to me that you are meeting people that want your daughter to have & learn about chickens.Just be glad that you have such friendly people around & want to help!But hre is a time when you do have to say NO THANKS cause some people will just give & give only to people that want to learn though. Keep up the good work.

also what makes a partridge, I'm guessing its a chicken with more then 1 colourings?
