They are adorable. The darker one looks like what I call a redneck (black with leakage). You use them to make the nice dark chested boys that the standard calls for. I love them. I have 2 girls and a boy that I wouldn't get rid of for anything. They make gorgeous partridge. I do see that there is more partridge pattern there however. Very nice. The other is very pretty too. How old are they? The crest on the first one is starting to kind of slick backwards which would make me think a boy, but the coloring with the beautiful penciling on the wings would make me think girl. Very cute birds. Looks like they both have nice tight wings. Very cute.

Well here are a couple more...but the flash kept making it look more yellowish...
I can't remember her name, but she was working on SQ silkies...I passed by and was like "oh neat color" started researching it more....noticed she doesn't look anything like the ones I see on here, and no I don't see penciling...when I was bathing and blowdrying I noticed more bluish, grey color with red tips...in a cat I woulda called it like red smoked color )
I would still say if anything at all, a calico it would be closest too. The red is just too red. It looks like a grey with a lot of smudged color. Some people call it smut, but that just sounds mean. But I wouldn't think she was any kind of partridge. Sorry.
x2
i might breed him to partdge cull out any babies with silver hackles

Well, if anything, it would be a blue partridge. Definitely not a regular partridge as it is COMPLETELY the wrong color. I don't see any penciling on the wings (but I know how hard that can be to show up on a photo. It really doesn't look like a blue partridge either because the red is so RED. Almost looks more calico to me or just a bird with a lot of off color. What breeding did it come from? I can't see the top of the crest, so I can't tell if there are any streamers, but it looks more girlish to me. Very strange color. Almost looks grey with a lot of leakage.

So I posted on here in... August I think? (on page 101 if anyone's interested in looking back) Asking about my two partridge's. While neither have laid an egg or crowed, I'm pretty sure my little one is a boy and my big one is a girl. I thought I'd re-post to follow up and get your opinions! The boy isn't the prettiest... I know haha. It's also not really easy to see in the pics, but the smaller one is developing a much bigger comb (and it's starting to get purpley), the big one's is staying pretty flat on her head.

And the big girl:
Let me know what you guys think!
Please excuse my photography skills this morning. It's hard to hold a chicken in one hand and photograph with the other!
