Partridges help!!

Hey everyone
So my friends dog killed a mummy partridge and left 8 eggs they were only 5 days from hatching so I quickly got them into my incubator and prayed they hadn't died..... well they hadn't and now I've got some baby partridges on my hands and I'm wondering if I'd need any sort of special feed to help them grow up healthy at the moment I have a mix of chick crumbs Niger seeds im wondering though if this is the right thing to be raising them on..... any help would be appreciated as this is very new to me

Partridge are definitely seed eaters, however you can start these babies on a Gamebird starter feed to give them all the nutrients they need to grow. Congrats on your babies!
