I can't watch shows without CC. I need to read as they say the words. I go crazy if I can't. I like low volume and rely on CC, plus that's how I learned English growing up and it stuck to keep reading it.

Of course I don’t! That’s gross. I don’t watch tv much, and when I do, NOT with subtitles.

You are missing out!!! It’s soooooo much better!! Although Netflix gets it wrong a lot and it annoys me or sometimes changes the meaning but its mostly great. And Comcast is a lot more accurate.

EXACTLY! I once left CC on my MIL's TV and she texted my husband and I asking why it was on and that it was so annoying. I was like: who watches TV WITHOUT CC???

I used to feel like your MIL and sure it occasionally covers it but I deal cause it’s so much better and its awesome getting to read the little things you never even heard before!
