I do that too sometimes but it’s nowhere near as good as an actual brush/comb (at least for me) because I get tons of tangles out when I brush it for real. LOL

I don’t actually do that towel thing for real LOL it was me being funny I do probably scrub my hair crazy in the shower though lol I’m usually pretty gentle with it but I do put all my hair on top of my head and rub it together to get the product on it lol

I have pretty long hair (mid chest length) that is pretty straight but a bit wavy. I always use shampoo on the top 1/3 of my hair (I think it drips down into the rest of my hair when in the shower anyway) and conditioner on the bottom 1/3 of my hair. I haven't gotten it cut in a long time because of covid, and the ends of my hair are FRIED because I use a lightening spray (not straight bleach, but has bleach in it) to lighten the ends of my hair. I usually wear my hair in a low ponytail where it gets SUPER tangley so I brush every day.

I brush my hair before I wash it.
It makes it easier to prevent tangles.
