I wish I could not bake so good

There are disadvantages to cooking well. I made Spanish rice a la Bob today, (with a few Nabiki modifications) and was planning on having leftovers for a couple of days. Then the roommate came along and said, "It smells sooo good!", so I let her have some. There's a tiny bit left, but not enough for a meal.

I placed a geocache at crater lake in summer of 98. Took it off line in 2005.

I had signatures from Australia, New Zealand, Canada and bunch of European countries. It was an ammo can about 3/4 mile off the rim trail.

I took it offline because the people were starting to tear up the area according to comments.

It was always neat to me to sign a book knowing people from across our country as well as from other countries were in that very spot.

That’s so cool you had people from all over!! Shame people were tearing it up though. most I’ve seen and met have been very respectful. Clearly you are too for taking it down But yeah I think that’s a lot of the fun of it! It’s not just names or trinkets or whatever but seeing people from all over.

No google maps. No fancy mapped handheld gps. Just the clues and quiet.

Yeah, I think I kinda prefer that way! I was just looking at a few on the thing and they give you so many hints/instructions and info now! I mean, not all do, and I guess it’s nice but I kinda liked when my friends and I used to go out with just the coordinates and look for it. We did have a GPS though but not a phone one or anything. It was like one of those old school hiking ones or whatever. I don’t think it even had a screen or not a very big one and just said where we were or whatever.

Now they have ones where you literally park and walk 100 feet of that Idk. That’s not geocaching to me. I haven’t done it in years though but every time we went it was in the woods getting dirty LOL
