Past Life Regression/ experiences/ Deja-vu

I've lived several "different lives" in THIS one particular Lifetime. It's pointless for me to consider having lived previous to THIS LIFETIME....because I already have trouble remembering portions of THIS ONE !!!

If one spends their life making important contributions to mankind, like posting on BYC, what or who do you think they get to be, in the next life?

I've got some memories in my head that don't fit in a 20th/21st century white American brat... or in some cases, a woman, for that matter.

If they're anything to go by, I've always been kind of bumbling and not very physically impressive. LOL

I remember worshiping the Black Hills and dying from a gut wound after trying to count coup on a guy who was much better at fighting than I was (dumb brash teenage boy syndrome). I remember joining the Roman military as a foot soldier in hopes of making it big and coming home to take over the family farm as a celebrated veteran... and getting trampled by a horse, instead. I remember being an unimportant girl in a fishing village, too. That one's actually unpleasant enough that I'd rather not write about it here. : P

Most of the memory strings start with dreaming of my death and waking up to other memories filling in the supporting story. It's not very pleasant, but doesn't happen that often. I do enjoy gryeyes' theory as an explanation, but I'm not entirely convinced the whole thing isn't my imagination running rampant at night. It feels real and the memories are fun to talk about on rainy evenings, though.

Now that's what I'm talking about. Thanks for sharing that! And any more you're comfortable talking about is great, too.

Oh, along with my belief of time and deja vu and perception, I also have flashes of past lives. I was NOBODY important. The most vivid memory surfaced when someone assisted me in a past life regression session, years and years ago.

Plain old normal girl assigned to temple duty somewhere, somewhen. Not important. Just one of many. Died in a flood. I SO recall the experience of drowning, and of impending death, and of giving up. Please, no references to Atlantis, as that never came to mind during the regression. (It was something to giggle about later, if I happened to discuss it with others during smoking sessions. Yes, I grew up in the 70s.)

In retrospect, my early youth growing up on the Oregon coast was fraught with absolute terror of drowning and therefore made perfect sense.
