I think this i why I like animals so much. They accept me as superior and important.
I have always felt as though there was a "connection" to other humans that I should have but don't. It's like all of existence is just a giant "holo-deck" (startrek term), where everything exists, but only displayed when I am there to experience it. I have tried and tried to reason this out. Why I feel as though I am not really "human", but rather some other life-form placed in this body and time to collect knowledge and learn skills for some purpose to be disclosed after I die. I am constantly on a stage with other humans...playing a part...trying to "fit", but not quite succeeding.
Wierd huh? Animals seem to understand. I think they still have the "connection" to whatever it is that humans do not.
All that said... I have consciously decided to believe that Jesus Christ is the key to attaining whatever the after-death placement is. So I believe he was and is exactly what he claimed to be, I just haven't matured enough to understand the "why" of it all.
