Glad you got your chick fixed up.I got over the gross Butt part a few years ago.I found myself in TSC this spring looking at all the chicks and picked up a couple and plucked the poo's off the butt's of a couple and then used the hand sanitizer LOL.I have found it best to use the Bandaid method for pasty butt's.Zip and keep a lil pet.jelly handy for after.I think it stresses chicks more taking them from brooder and soak soak pick pick on the butt.The best is check them often for build up and it's much less stress on the chicks and you.But I know We cant always be with birds 24/7 and thing's Do and will happen.
