remember to photo copy these so you can make as many as you want.it is possible that you may want to keep at least one of each pattern for future classes

Those are so hard to find anymore, I got my neighbor started on quilt blocks using the printed foundation.

years ago I use to do this quilt group at Ben Franklin Crafts (they no longer sell fabric) and we made different blocks as a group each month, they gave them away to learn on. every time I went in I would get another one. I just pulled these out of my attic where most of my stash is, they are at least 12 years old and I'm not going to use them.
I also admire what Writer is doing for the kids.

Thank you so much! I also just posted some pics on the crochet thread of the blankets and shawls they finished. We printed some patterns from the chicken block swap and they cutting them out and we are going to try cutting out pieces from some fabric a teacher brought us this morning and see if we make a chicken block,, not sewn yet, we don't have needles and thread today but just to see!
Sorry about the hijack!

I'll send you a pattern that is really quick and easy. I use it a lot for my Project Linus quilts.

ETA---I just bought a bunch of those Walmart FQ's-Fat Quarters. They are marked down 25%. My store is getting rid of fabric everything is 25%off. Also bought the background fabric for my I-Spy quilts I have planned from those squares we traded.
