Paul Newman dies...

I was stunned when I read the news. He has always been one of my favorites, not only for his theatrical ability, but for his devotion to his wife and to the humanitarian causes they supported. I appreciate that he did good deeds for the doing of the deeds, not for the publicity of the deeds.
We are poorer for his loss.

I talked with him of the phone once. I use to work with a guy who use to work for Paul. Paul was calling him to tell him how old he felt because he had just been stopped by the police for speeding and the young police officer only knew him by his dressing didn't know he was an actor.

I loved his movies!!

I am so sad he will truly be missed. My husband's most favorite movie of his is Cool Hand Luke. He was devistated when he heard the news.

Ole' Blue Eyes will be missed by many. For many of us he was our "first love"

He lived a good life, had many blessing, was a humanitarian, and a role model for many. I pray for his family and friends to celebrate his life and accomplishments, rather than mourn with saddness.
