Chicks are popping every week and in a few days they will be popping EVERY 3 days for a couple of weeks. My incubator is FULL and I am still collecting eggs LOL. My spring swaps have not even started to come in yet. I am going to have to make ANOTHER Brooder box ASAP.

I have 4 small brooder in my incubator room and 2 bigger ones (about 4x4 crates) in the shop but soon to be 3. The they gradually go to pens with less heat and then none. Most of what I am hatching is for sale so I hope I can keep them sold so I don't have to move them to the shop

So this weeks hatch just finished. I'm about to cleans and candle so I can put the next batch into lockdown.

I had 3 wheaten Ams from donna hatch but only one has made it :/ the fourth quit a few days ago and the Lav am never pipped but was fully formed. Out of 60 various that went into lockdown I have 52 chicks

Wow, just found this thread. I need to post an update on my records of what is due/owed/received/hatched.

Right now I have to go cook some of my hatching eggs at high temperatures (

), have breakfast, then start bathing 25 chickens for the show this weekend.

Eggs from DM Rippy arrived happy and healthy. OMG!!! Serious, serious extras.....Thank you so much! Packaged beautifully....lost two to USPS requisite soccer game. Sometimes I just can't figure out how to they manage it.

Got some really pretty eggs from crfarms a couple of weeks ago. Perfectly packed. I am pretty sure 4/7 seem to be developing nicely but they are nice dark eggs so it is hard to tell.

I got two undamaged packages today. Maybe two at a time confused the USPS and they couldn't get them both kicked around so they left them alone! DMRippy and Pysankygirl, thank you very much! I'll let them sit until tomorrow, then pop them in a still incubator for a day before they go on the turner.
