So, final tally on crfarms birchen marans eggs:
Claimed 12, sent 14. All came in great shape. One clear out of 14. All 13 made it to lockdown!!! 5 of those hatched and a sixth one partially zipped but died. I tried to help it, but it was already gone. The remaining seven are still in the bator, but appear to have quit. Never pipped :( I probably did something wrong because they were alive at lockdown. This is my first hatch from shipped eggs and I couldn't be happier. My goal was to get 6, 50% of what I traded for, so 5. Is pretty darn close. Big beautiful eggs too! Thank you crfarms.

ETA: a seventh chick pipped on the wrong end. So, 50% actually attempted to hatch and five of the seven made it :)
