Pea chicks

i currently want some indian blue peacocks but i dont know where to get some 4 a resonable price i live in culpeper VA any ideas

Welcome to BYC! Have you tried craigslist? One should probably expect to pay around $25 each for newly hatched chicks.

Yes, the chicken chicks and ducks have been roaming on terra firma before we were given them......

PS I will have a look at the stickies, but as I am a man, I can only do one thing at a time and that not very well.......

Yes, I would rethink things a bit. Keep them off the ground,dirt, wood chips, etc... keep them in your brooder on medicated feed as long as you can. Keep them away from the other chicks as long as you can, this will give them their best possible chance at survival because once they do pick up a bug they are often gone in 24 hours.
