I got it set up so that the leg can be splinted and the toes taped to pieces of cardboard. It is on a sort of shelf in a small box so everything is in proper position but it is prevented from falling sideways.

Since you have it all set up with food and water I would go at least 24 hours esp since it is now a few days old.So here it is all set up on a box shelf. Underneath the leg is splinted into correct position and both sets of toes are taped flat. With the little buffet within reach, it seems quite content. Not sure whether to leave it like this for 12 or 24 hours.View attachment 3202910
