PEACOCKS DROPPING TAIL FEATHERS

Yeah, well, poor Hershey had his train wreck. I collected 3 eggs out of their pen so I set them under hens. And I got 2 more out of Zazous' pen and set those and he lost his train over a week ago.

Amy of west knoll. That boy is spectacular! I never saw one like this. Does he have a name for his color? What about his lady friend. What is her description or do you say variety or kind? Any idea as to what their crossing will produce? Sorry for so many questions. So many of mine are cookie cutters. I was very surprised to have produced two pure whites. Don't know who the parents were either. Judy(tupelo, ms)

Ditto, he is very handsome!

The last one I posted is a Bronze. He is mated with a Bronze hen. I have chicks out of them and they should be Bronze, too. Last year this Bronze cock mated with an India Blue hen and naturally, it produced a India Blue offspring but split to Bronze. It is only genetic and he looks like his mom, an India Blue.

If it is not the last photo I posted then let me know which one. I have a good many peafowl.

Mine lose them in about 3 days, as well. I go one day and they look fine except maybe one feather gone, then 3 days later I go to visit and POOF! The place is filled with feathers. I scramble to pick them up so I can hopefully sell the best ones.
