Our oldest IB peacock likes to come out of the pen every day to walk around and visit with the other birds (he has a thing for one of our white peahens - he spends alot of time over there) and eat some grass. He likes the chickweed that grows on the ditch bank to. So anyway yesterday we are planting our spring garden. Nice green broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, couple rows of peas. All his fav things to nibble on. He was pacing back and forth waiting for us to get out of the way and then the abuse part came in.........

We fenced in the garden. I have no doubt he will never look at me the same and the peafowl police will be waiting for me today after work. I'm so ashamed.

And you are abusing me, too! I want to work in my garden, put up a new building, and work on fences

But that 2 or 3 feet of snow on the frozen ground is getting in the way...

Is the fence high enough to keep them out?

We don't have any Emu's yet but Mr P could be working with El Chupacabra. The garden is right beside one of the pheasant pens - Mr P gets the veggies the chupacabra gets everything else.

Today the fence worked Frosty, time will tell. And don't worry spring will come sooner or later for you.....June or July maybe.

This talk of gardening is abusive to the point that I hope he has flown over the fence and eaten everything.

The only thing growing here is the snow drifts.
