I lost my black shoulder cock one night this week to the neighbors dog. That situation has been resolved but now I'm looking at getting bother cock, mostly just as a pet/yard ornament. Anyway, I have he opportunity to get one or two of these colors, India blue, black shoulder, opal black shoulder and purple Spaulding black shoulder.... I'm having one heck of a time looking up the last two colors...this breeder doesn't have a way to send pictures and I was wanting them to meet me to save some time and travel... anyone have pictures?!

Hello there @neener92 ,
Have you browsed our Peafowl Image Database?

That is super helpful!!! Now I need to decide if I want two different colored cocks or a male/female pair... the ones I'm looking at are 6months old.

Opal Black Shoulder cock coming three. Lo % Spaulding Purple Black shoulder cock. India Blue BlackShoulder cock.
Goodness! They're all gorgeous! Now I guess I should decide which pair I want...

It also depends on what you want the chicks to look like if you do get a pair. With only a couple exceptions if you breed a bird that's not an IB to an IB bird you won't get any mutations as chicks.

@KsKingBee , one of the hens that my friend has looks gray all over, just like they gray on this cock of yours. Are opal hens gray like this?
