Peafowl for 2013

Not familiar with that one. What do you mean carsportpony?
They walk differently... wings down, like they're hot and tail carried up compared to normal. Not pointed up, more flat. I'll see if I can get a picture of one doing it.

That's why I asked the question... If she were mine, I would give her 1000 mg of calcium orally, I just use the human tablets, it won't hurt her. If she's eggbound, it might help her get the egg out.

Just be careful catching her, you wouldn't want to break an egg if it is stuck. You might also want to get some gloves, KY Jelly and very gently do a cloacal exam.

This is for chickens, but it might be helpfull.

She isnt showing any signs of distress like birds do when eggbound.(not eating, lethargic etc.) Acting normal so Im not going to do anything until I see a change or problem somewhere. She has plenty of grit so no calcium dose needed. It is her first time laying I believe. Maybe thats all it is.

I've had a bunch of chickens with egg related problems this year, so maybe I'm a little more sensitive than I should be.
