When my pair was two, the male didn't have a train at all. I put the eggs under a hen and one hatched...Peahens usually lay some when they are two, but I have gotten eggs from yearling rare but it does happen. The peacock usually needs to be at least two with a few eyes in his train before they are old enought to breed. I lay my eggs on there side in my sportsman auto turn incubator and turn them by hand once a day also.
