I don't know why some folks put them on their sides except it is said by them that they get a better hatch rate, my next batch next week i am going to set them pointy end down and perhaps i will have my answer .
I inc everything else pointy end down and have always had good hatch rater.
I agree with stro bators but not everyone can afford or need a big cabinet bater.

I have a total of 5 eggs so far. I found one that was cracked open and was only shell. I don't know how that happened. With that in mind, I will see what i get today and tomorrow and put those in the incubator. If I don't have a full incubator, I will throw in some guinea eggs.

LOL @ rats. I don't have rats but I will blame it on them because I REFUSE to believe that my peas are egg eaters?

So you have egg eaters????????????????? WOW!!! How many pea egg eaters do you have? Is there a cure for P.E.E. (pea egg eating)?

I'm glad that you said that. I'm going to pick up ALL eggs as soon as I see them. I'm the only one at my place allowed to eat any eggs.

Saturday I had to catch one as she laid it from the perch!
