I FINALLY got a peachick to hatch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will have to wait till tomorrow for pictures but I have had no luck this year in the incubator. I had my very first egg set hatch on Memorial Day and my DD'sdog killed it GRR, then I have had 0% hatch after that till last night. I have been setting 2 or 3 every 3 or 4 days. This one has a bit of a rough navel but she is strong and loud this morning!!! Yes they do bond fast she nestled right up into my hand and went right to sleep last night it was soooo cute. I have one broody peahen sitting on 8 eggs due the 30th. My other hen has made a nest and is trying to hide eggs from me so I will let her set too soon. I am so happy today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep . I learned one thing this year when they are breeding and sitting they do not dust bath normally hence they get some buggies, I saw some on Masters Face a couple weeks ago so while he was fanning I snuck up on him and dosed his backside with a syringe, two days later no buggies.
