The father could be one of the whites that contributed one white gene as well as a white eye gene. One of your hens is definitely split pied and also carrying one white eye gene. Does your Indiablue male have any white flight feathers and or a white throat patch along with at least a few white eyes in the train feathers ?

My IB male has no white anywhere as far as I know.

Im unsure of the parents because my birds are mixed. My older birds are a cameo 3yo hen, a normal 3yo IB hen and a ?yo adult IB male.

I also have a pair of whites that are almost 2. I kind of ruled him out because I hardly ever seeing him strutting. My big IB male fans 10 hours a day and has the hens with him most of the day.

Your IB male is most likely split to silver pied. They will not show any white if split to silver pied I was told. My charcoal male is split silver pied and the only white he shows is a tiny white eyes on his train. If you can get pictures of the hens I bet one has a small throat latch on it's neck and that one is split to pied

Yoda, I'll get a good look tomorrow. Never noticed the split to pied trademark on any hens. This chick was a total surprise, I'm still shocked.

Zaz, that's my good hand. I touched a hot muffler on my mower while checking a spark plug today. My thumb went from normal to quarter sized blisters before my eyes. It looks HORRIBLE!

Silver pieds , pieds split whites , split pieds and dark pieds are not that rare any more. I have hatched several and sold Adult silver pieds, for about $150/ea and a few weeks old chicks unsexed for about $40/ea. This year , I am hatching spalding and black shoulder with all the patterns mentioned above. I got a few already
