I have read that citrus is not good for chickens. Is this true?

Has anyone seen what chickens do when they have peanut butter on their beaks? It's hilarious! It's as funny as watching a dog try to clean its mouth of the sticky stuff!

My chickens adore peanut butter, and beg for a taste as I bait the mouse traps and the hot wire for the bears. You don't want to let them have a tub of the stuff, though.

And my chickens like occasional orange halves. Never seen any problems.

Our 4H club made seed ornaments with peanut butter, stale bread and crumbles/seeds. Both the chickens and the wild birds loved it. You just need to be careful if you use yarn to hang it up. I actually left mine off - had visions of the chickens getting hung up in them which would not be pretty. Have not had any problems with them eating peanut butter either. But everything should be in moderation.

I throw some peanut butter to cooked oatmeal almost every morning . They love it.

Mine love peanutbutter and its nice and fattening too. lol I cook mine down until it melts and then add popped milo, BOSS and other goodies. I make a "cake" out of it and they eat on it for a couple of days.

What is BOSS?

Popped milo? Where do you find that? How do you pop it? I'd love to be able to make a cake treat of some sort for those I have in a pen. I have scratch and boss and oatmeal here, and peanut butter.
Does anyone know where I can find some recipes for such a thing?
