Peanuts for pigeons?

My 2 Pet Pigeons dont seem to like them, Haha.

Well that is odd...! I think they have not yet acquired a taste for them "KEEP TRYING".

When I enter my loft the dominate birds fly all over me looking for peanut treats. They ward off any subjects in the loft or I would look like a scene from the Alfred Hitchcock movie.

Curious if I need to break the peanuts up? I’m shelling them and then breaking them up because I’m afraid they’ll choke! Which is a lot of work. So if it’s not necessary, I’ll be glad to stop! Ha! They aren’t going crazy over them but they eat them.

not necessary but it makes them take a little longer eating them which is a plus sometimes. 50% I give them whole the other I break them
