Pearl or Earl? Blue Wheaten Ameraucana?

This was sold to us as an Ameraucana bantam, but we have no idea what type he/she is. Also any insight on the sex of this one? It's about 3 weeks old.

early, but I am going to say pullet, can't remember when my blue wheaten cockeral got his red shoulders etc...

But if you remember, the wheaten variety can have legs that look green for a few weeks while they are "getting their color".

The color just seems off to me.

True wheaten chicks are more creamy, not white and have more colors in their feathers.

Looks like a beautiful little pullet

Looks just like my bird Mist, when she was that age... She is getting brownish-red feathers on her wings now.

actually I don't think the wheatens I got from you had the green....but that seems so long ago

I have only recently hatched a few from the blue wheatens and they are still fuzzy so I don't know, I will catch on some day
