My girls (3) of them all very friendly too! I wasn’t planning on getting them either but the farm store didn’t have exactly what I wanted so, I grabbed these girls. Very friendly and I really like the way they look!

Your birds are very nice. I see that you are from Allegan, MI. Does Haworth still have a manufacturing plant there? I worked for Haworth from 1992 - 2004 in one of their NC facilities and visited Allegan a couple of times.

Yes, Haworth is near Allegan - over in Holland - they have a big presence there.

I just picked up a half dozen of the Pearl Star Leghorns from a local shop. They look the same as the ones pictured earlier in this string. I’m a first time owner of chickens and hope these prove to be good layers with other good characteristics as well.

I ended up with 4 of them! I’m also hoping that they are good layers. They seem to be good sized - quite a bit bigger than the others I got (Easter Egger, Buff Orps etc). I will snap a couple more pics today and post - mine are about 8 weeks old now. Good luck with your girls!

That’s great! My buddy took 4 and I took 6, it was the last 10 they had. My buddy has been raising chickens for about 15 years and was excited to check out this new variety as well. And same to you with your girls!

Wetmorechick, those are beautiful chicks. Mine are 3 weeks. Excited to see them at 8 compared to yours. I’ll try to post some now and later pics.
