To me he just looks tired. The light rain might have kept him up or something so he might just be tired.

Am I seeing things, or do the pied ones have blue eyes if the patching is on the head???

Oh my....I knew white spotting could cause this in other animals, but it never occurred to me that it might happen in peafowl.

Yes the pied ones have blue eyes although sometimes they look more grey in different lighting. Both my peacock and peahen pied peafowl have blue eyes. It is very pretty.

I wish I could get a shot of Ducky's face- he has yellow stripes around his eyes and purple shading underneath- that's what made him look puffy. He was puffy because he's COLD!! Very yucky today. He and the girls went in the little Faverolles coop to hang out today- they always do when it's yucky.
