I really am acquainted with the pack system but I had no idea that chickens would rather see fellow flock mates starve to death rather than allow them to feed I put out enough grain to feed everybody well, but they would rather fight amongst themselves for the grain that is available rather than simply eat what's in front of them they need to take what's not no I understand about available resources but them chickens have never starved. I feed laying crumbles and sweet feed dont know what else i can do

What are the nutritional values of this 'sweet feed'?
Is it a chicken ration?
How many birds in how much space?
How old and what genders are birds?

I have found feeding sweet feed/we cob is not good for chickens. To much sugar and it does a number on their digestive system and could make them sick. I have found giving them cracked corn and pellet layer works best to fill them up with little waste.

" sweet feed" has molasses mixed with assorted grains formulated for chickens. I offer it to boost their sugar levels a bit very hot here in florida. The bulk of their feed is crumbles and they free range ( being relatively cockroach free in florida is my goal lol )
