Pecked chick

One of my baby chicks got out of the pen I fixed for them in the coop. The older chickens pecked it horribly. I rinsed the wound with warm water and slathered it is triple antibiotic ointment. Should I do something else to clean it?

Poor thing...what part of the chicken am I looking at?

Keeping it clean with water and applying the ointment is great.
Veterycin makes a good "spray" and just recently a member talked about how good the spray was at helping to keep her chickens wound clean...the force of the spray worked well.

Keeping her indoors until it heals may help too.
Help by keeping flies away from the wound.

That's her head. I think that is bone but I'm not sure.
