Pecking behavior in brand new chick?

I am having the same issue, I have three chicks so far, the first is 2 days old the others less than 1 day. The first is a large chick and it is pecking the two smaller chicks around the beak and eyes. I have returned the younger ones to the incubator. Should I remove the big chick instead?

Leave him awhile and see if he gets used to them, if not try what they say above.
I wouldn't worry to much, he is probably just used to being alone

Patience seems to be the key, the chicks are getting along fine. Still a little pecking but nothing worrying. Thanks for the advice.

They so adorable, I see you have the brinsea Eco glow brooder, how is that working out for you?

I am no expert but the chicks are happy to spend most of the day underneath it and are doing well so I think it must works.

Yeah, I have read that lots of people are happy with it, I was going to get the whole brinsea kit, but I ever got around to doing it, hopefully next year...
One more question, what are you using for bedding?

It is made out of recycled paper, it seems to work well, absorbs any mess and spills and easy to remove just the soiled bit without having to clean the whole cage.

That sounds easy, I will see if I can get any here, I am using woodchips now and then a little box of sifted dirt for their dust baths and it is really hard to clean...
