Today, I went to put in the chickens. I opened up the run, shut the door behind me. Then I checked the coop, only Bonnie and Marian where there!

Pepper, Luna and Salt where huddled I the corner of the run. I guess the little door to the coop was knocked shut. They were all fine but just a little cold. Least they were in the closed run were nothing can get to them.

That's about it for today then

Let out the chickens this morning. Come back and only Salt and Luna where out. Everyone else was to cold. But when Bonnie heard me she ran out to greet me. The others came out eventually too.

This is Salt's last night with us. He is leaving for a new home tomorrow. But we are getting three more Polish chickens tomorrow also. Bittersweet is what it is

Anyways. I will probably post again tonight, not much is happening now though.

Poor Bonnie. Somebody pooped all over her last night! She was embarrassed. I am soon going out to clean her off.

Yes, I'm sure it will happen a little more too since we got 4 new chickens today. 3 polish and a Sumatra. I will pat pics tomorrow.

Is that a chicken toy I see in that first picture of the polish? I got one of those at Tractor Supply, but my chickens are afraid of it.
