On no I’m so sorry. I’m glad you said this because I was thinking about making a little fish pond in my yard. But now I’m not. My chickens free range and I hate for one to fall in and drown.

I am totally sad and feel so guilty.

I was just at the coop...when I noticed that one chicken was missing. I checked the run... no chicken, no feathers. I found her drowned in a water barrel that I didn't cover. It's my fault!
I dumped the water out of the ones that are not covered. I can't descripe the way I feel at the moment.

41 chicks out of 42... one didn't make it.
I just love this incubator...no troubles, always keeping temperature and humidity. Well worth the money!!
Can't believe they are already practicing flying...jumping on top of the heating plate!! wow!!

So sorry for your lose! We had so much rain these past few weeks, you are not at fault! We do the best we can for those in our care.

Hey for BW they have announced that all schools will be closed as of next Tuesday! Doesn't affect me, but just wanted to know if other states are also taking precautions to stop the Corona virus from spreading. I work in a clinic, so there will be no hope of me getting quarantine time off.

Yes, Nordrheinwestfalen is closing schools. Bavaria is as far as I know. Hesse is staying open...so far.
My daughter and husband are working from home. My daughters university is closing for the next 2 weeks... and considering changing to online classes after that.
The VW qualification center where I work has canceled all classes until June 30!!! Don't know yet what that means for me... we'll see.
Got a little scare because one of the trainers at work got in contact with the corona virus thru his wife (she was exposed) but luckily both were tested negativ.

Here it's a mess. Schools are still open, but university is closed. And gatherings over 100 people are closed. We are advised to work from home and not to see our elderly.
I wonder when the government will enhance measures. I work on the market and it really is noticable that people are staying at home.
