I have the Genesis 1588 also. I love it and would like to order a second one. Very easy to operate it, just set it up, add a small amount of water in the tray, add turner add eggs and voila! I usually add a very small amount of water almost daily and then the last few days I FILL the water tray to bring the humidity up to about 70-80%. Cutler Supply has the best price that I have found on the complete setup.
I would like to have a larger one, but this size keeps my chicken population in check. I always sucked at math in school, but I really suck at chicken math! lol Good luck, I hope you are able to get your new bator soon.
