Thank you, that was last year and since then some of the babies have had chicks that have gone to new homes

I have one pekin bantam chick and im trying to decide whether or not to give her to people with three other chicks. I have given her a hot water pack and a little stuffed zebra for company and every chance i get she is with me but im worried if she will survive on her own as im at school 5 days a week. I have until this afternoon to decide wether to keep her. she is only four weeks old and i have no other chicks the same age and no broodies

Sounds like a hard choice. Do you have a small run you could keep your chi k in outside? So that way it can be around other chooks butstill not get bullied by the bigger hens. Don't forget chickens are social creatures, so if youcant get a small run outside i would suggest giving the chick away maybe. Good luck with your decision.

Plenty happening on the Pekin posts - this enterprising gal is about to steal poor kitty's breakfast right from under her nose (note the pointed ears on kitty)! She wolf's her meal down every morning before the Pekins chase her away!
