I bought a pekin bantam and it does not have hairy feet is it a pekin bantam or is it not??

Probably not. Can you post pictures? It's probably a different breed if its legs aren't feathered.

Doesn't look like a Pekin (Cochin in the US) to me, are you positive it's a bantam? I agree it looks like a pullet.

I brought up from a lady who showed us her Pekins and the only other cock I saw was a buff orp.

it will not be a cross, it's a completely different breed as a pekin x will have some feather on it's leg.

Ok so I phoned up the person I got her from and said a few of a Pekins don't have fairyfeet and she doesn't have any jersey giants
Only other one is a chocolate orp bantam hmmm

Ok o I called in to see the breeder and they said it could be there huge buff orp cockeral had got on top of the netting and where the pekin bantams perch the netting weighs down and he gets the girls so can anyone post some pics of
them please
