Hi đź‘‹
I have 3 polish chickens (1 cockeral) and 2 pekin bantams. They all live together quite happily until recently we have noticed when it comes to bedtime the 2 pekins will go into the coop and sit in the door way stopping the 3 polish going in.
This is a new behaviour for them. I was wondering if anybody has come across this before? What should we do about it?

I think your pekins are being bullies. I have that problem with my polish roo. Something about the polish chickens makes them not want to fight, they just give in.

Thank you for replying i was afraid of this. I'm just now wondering really what I can do about it, I dnt want my polish being too scared to go into the coop when they used to quite happily put themselves to bed.

How old are these birds, in weeks or months?
How big is your coop?
Pics of coop, inside and out, might help here.
