Pekin bleeding around shoulder area

Oh wow, that’s the only vitamin I have and I had no idea if it would help. It was leftover from when my duck Puddles was struggling with walking. I’ve Been putting it in their food every other day but now that I know it might help I will up the dosage. Thanks so much for the tip!!

I wanted to give an update on Penny. Yesterday she was bleeding a bit from a new spot, lower on her shoulder, but the upper shoulder looked to be healing. We just went out to give her her meds just now and it actually looks like she might be healing!! It's so hard to tell beneath the thick layer of down and feathers (I guess it's good she's not losing them!!) but the upper shoulder area looks normal. We sprayed the lower shoulder as that was irritated, but not as bad as yesterday. So hoping that the antibiotics do the trick, and praying that she heals and won't be dealing with this again, so we can keep her for a long and healthy life!

Update: I just finished the second antibiotic and my duck Penny is no better. She still acts normal, just the awful raw skin on both her sides. The tragedy is that my family's favorite duck Puddles now seems to have some troubled skin issues when I was just now looking under her feathers. No bleeding, but definitely concerning. I am feeling horrible. Should I have separated the other duck, was it my fault that now Puddles might be getting sick? Should I put Penny down tomorrow just in case that might help the remaining ducks? It just all seems awful. I thought ducks were supposed to be hardy and fairly easy, but it's been one problem after another for me, though I've tried to give them the best care. I'm feeling so sad about this!

There is meds for fungus like athletes foot you buy OTC. I’d at least give it a try before thinking of putting her down especially since she is acting so normal other wise. What was the antibiotic was it for bacterial infection.
