Hi, I Am Going To Enter My Cochin Bantam Roo In A Show Soon, And I Have Doubts About His Colouring.
He Looks Like This One:http://www.peacocksaustralia.com/gallery/details.php?image_id=107
But He is A LOT more Gold in The Hackles, And His Shoulder Feathers Are Gold As Well. Sone Of His Saddles Are Tipped In Gold Too.
And He Was Sold To me As A birchen, But I Have My Doubts, As I Have Mentioned, Hi Is More Gold Then Silver. I Was Thinking He Is Brassy Backed. What Do You Guys Think???

Thanks In Advance For Your Help,
James

P.S. How Well Do You Think Tat Cochin Would Do If It WAS Entered As A Birchen?

looks like a gold/ silver split birchen... still a birchen pattern (crow winged) but just not pure silver.

not really a standard colour, you can try your luck in AOC, if he's got exceptional shape then he might get placed.

Golden birchen? Golden is the name for a gold/silver split. However, I do not know the recognised colours in Australia.
