    Thanks everyone. Right now they are only getting chick starter as I haven't been able to get them grit yet.

    I just wanted to make sure it was normal! I'm such a worry wart!

    DO NOT FEED BABY DUCKS CHICK STARTER!!!!!!! it has medicine in it and will KILL THE BABY DUCKS

    Why? There is no problem with amprolium.

    Not all chick started is medicated, mine isn't. My ducks are 6 weeks old and doing just fine on Dumont chick started/grower.

    The food my ducks are on is non-medicated.

    Yes ok I said don feed them medicated just knowing that most chick feed is medicated

    And if the medication is amprolium, which is what is in most chick starters , there is no problem .
