My pekins eye is shut and he's in a lot of pain.. What do I do?!

Maybe do a warm wet cloth press

Also is there any puss comeing from it or leakage? Yellow or clean discharge? Is it pink in any way?

Got my first duck egg from my girl Puddles!



Thought it was from my Indian Runner at first because it was a greenish color. Just washed it and it magically turned pure white!

There isn't anything coming out of his eye it looks bloodshot though, ill get a picture tonight

He possibly could have poked it on a branch or somthing. You also may want to corentein him and check the rest of your flock it could possibly be pink eye

Have you tried looking to see if there is something in his eye? wrap him in a large towel so he holds still take some nice warm water about a qt. with about 1 teas of salt dissolved in it and use a soft wash cloth and wash his eye out, you can run the water over his eye and then gently try and open it so you can see if something is in there. also there is a product called Vetetycin spray that can be bought at TSC that can safely be used in the eyes and on the face.

They are just fine! My girls had them. As long as them are eating,drinking,preening,pooping, then they are good & beautiful too!
