Sending all of you happy thoughts and prayers!  I forgot you'll be moving, too.  Sheesh, lady, you have a lot going on.       Please keep us posted.  When is new baby due?

I have 4 Pekins. I purchased them at a local feed store. They were suppose to be pullets, but apparently ducks are hard to sex. They are 4 months old and live with my EE chickens here outside of Wiggins.

You can usually tell the sex by their voice especially at 4 months, I think. Mine are a few weeks older, well my one. Anyhow females are loud and its an unmistakable quack. Males are pretty quiet and raspy. I'm sure some one has the link to listen to the differences but its pretty easy to tell the difference. And the males get a curl in their tale almost always. But my male just got a couple drake curls at 16 weeks wait that's 4 months, lol sorry Pekin is 17 weeks old

Thank you everyone for all your sympathy and advice. Jojo will be a permanent house duck until we move then I will get him a few girlfriends. So a special thanks to someone in particular, you know who you are, I am truly grateful with all my heart and I'm sure JoJo will be too. I'm dreading tomorrow. Poor jojo will be by himself for a good 12 hours or so please pray for the little guy, he will have all he needs and then some. And I got him a stuffed animal, and a mirror. I hope he will be OK. Awe, I will keep sweet boy JoJo in my thoughts while he's alone tomorrow. I am glad he's gonna be a house duck. He needs you just as much as you and Ryleigh need him. Send us a note the minute you get home to him.

I've never seen ducks sold sexed in feed stores. Usually they are straight run. Anyway here is the link in voice sexing but I think I already see at least one boy tail curl. They are very cute. http://www.majesticwaterfowl.org/artquacks.htm

I'm with @needlessjunk on that. I've never seen or even heard of sexed ducklings being sold at a feed store. Ducklings aren't really hard to sex if you know how to do it and get some practice, but I've always assumed feed stores sell them straight run because they don't want people buying up all the females and leaving them stuck with all males.

not sure. There was a smaller one our daughter dropped and said there were 3 yolks. I didn't see it so not sure if that was true lol

Could you get a picture of them from the side? From what I can see - it looks like at least two of them have a curl on their tail. It's hard to tell because of all the fluffy white! So I would think the upper two might be male, and maybe one of the bottom two as well - it's hard to tell.
